The difference
Most certifications hand you a certificate and wish you luck. This one hands you a working clinical system. Every skill you learn is anchored to a platform feature you will use with real clients the week you graduate.

Included from the day you enrol
Your own platform access is switched on the moment you enrol — the 14-network questionnaire, the NeuroZen app, the daily diary and your own reports. You run the programme on yourself while you study it, so you have felt every instruction before you give it to a client.
It is included with your licence, it is tied to your Practitioner Dashboard for your personal use, and it never consumes one of your client seats. Practitioners are expected to keep their own practice current — so we stopped charging for it.
Curriculum
44 professional video lessons and 11 hours 40 minutes of taught content, each with written clinical commentary and a knowledge check set at 80% mastery.
From enrolment to first client
One payment of $1,495. You get instant access to the course, and your own platform access is switched on the same day. Your hard copy of Wide Awake Without Fear is posted to you.
The Practitioner Agreement sets the standard, the scope and the referral line. It is Module 0 for a reason — nothing else opens until it is accepted.
Most practitioners take 8–12 weeks. You complete your own questionnaire, run your own HRV sessions, keep your own diary and read your own reports, so the instruments are familiar before a client is in the chair.
Pass the final assessment and submit your capstone case study. Your certificate is issued, your Practitioner Dashboard opens, and your listing goes live on the public directory.
Five client seats are included for your first three months from the day you certify — not from the day you enrol — so those three months land when you can actually use them.
Send the welcome package, they complete the questionnaire, and their initial report is held for your review before release. From there it runs in 12-week blocks, and at the end of each block you and your client decide together whether to continue.
The commercial model
There is no revenue share, no commission and no per-client fee to us. Clients enrolled under your code pay nothing to the platform — their access is covered by your seat. What you charge for your programme is entirely your decision.

Seats are per patient and are not transferable, so a new client means a new seat. Their record stays readable to you, costing nothing.
We publish suggested client-pricing guidance in Module 18, but your prices are always your own. We make no income or earnings claims — what a practice earns depends entirely on the practitioner.
Who wrote it
Dr Ash Connell is registered with AHPRA as a chiropractor (CHI0001772308), with additional certifications in qEEG analysis, swLORETA neurofeedback and HRV biofeedback. The NeuroZen method is the system he runs at The Healthy Brain Clinic with real patients — the same questionnaire, the same HRV protocols, the same reports. The certification teaches the wellness-scope layer of that system, and it is taught by the person who built it.
Who this is for
Allied health professionals, counsellors, coaches, breathwork and yoga teachers, personal trainers — anyone who wants to add objective, measurable self-regulation training to what they already do.
One credential, one standard, one title: Certified NeuroZen Practitioner. If you hold a registered health profession, you continue to practise under your own registration and title obligations — the certification adds a wellness-scope skill set, it does not confer a clinical title.
One prerequisite. A Polar H10 chest-strap sensor (approx. $140 AUD), bought from any retailer before Module 6. Everything else is provided.
Certified NeuroZen Practitioners provide nervous-system self-regulation training and education within a wellness scope.
The certification does not qualify you to diagnose or treat any medical or psychological condition, and it is not neurofeedback. Clinical qEEG assessment and swLORETA neurofeedback remain referral-only to The Healthy Brain Clinic.

About the renewal line at checkout. You will see NeuroZen Certification Renewal — Annual listed at $0.00. That is correct: your first 12 months are included. Your licence is what keeps your Practitioner Dashboard open and the platform usable, and for the first 12 months it is included in the price. The renewal is what continues it: $495 a year, or $49 a month if you choose the monthly term, and it covers content updates, your continued directory listing and re-verification. At zero seats your dashboard stays open on your annual licence, so your records and reports remain available to you.

Questions
Most practitioners complete it in 8 to 12 weeks studying part-time. There is no deadline — you move at your own pace, and your access continues while your licence is current. The only sequencing rule is that the Practitioner Agreement is accepted first, and the capstone case study is submitted last.
No. The certification teaches self-regulation training and education within a wellness scope, which does not require a health registration. If you do hold one, you continue to practise under your own registration and title obligations — this adds a skill set, it does not change your scope of practice.
You need a Polar H10 chest-strap sensor (approx. $140 AUD) before Module 6. Each client needs their own Polar H10 as well, which they buy themselves.
The NeuroZen app runs in a browser and connects to the strap over Bluetooth. On a computer or an Android device, use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. On an iPhone or iPad, Safari cannot connect to Bluetooth devices, so clients use the free Bluefy browser instead. The welcome package your clients receive from you explains all of this step by step — you do not have to write it.
You get your own. It switches on the day you enrol, it is tied to your Practitioner Dashboard for your personal use, and it stays with you for as long as your dashboard is alive. It does not consume one of your client seats. You are expected to keep your own practice current, so it is included rather than charged for.
Whatever you decide. Clients enrolled under your practitioner code pay nothing to the platform — their access is covered by your seat, and they pay you directly for your programme. There is no revenue share and no commission. Module 18 includes suggested pricing guidance drawn from what the model actually costs to run, but the decision is yours.
Nothing ends automatically. At week 12 the client re-takes the 14-network questionnaire and you get a comparison report. From there, you and your client decide together: continue into another 12-week block on the same seat, or complete the programme and free the seat for someone else. Long-term clients are normal and the system is built for them.
That is fine. At zero seats your dashboard stays open on your annual licence, and your own personal platform access stays switched on. Add a seat plan when you are ready, and cancel it again if your caseload changes. The only thing that pauses at zero seats is your public directory listing.
No. This is HRV biofeedback and self-report network interpretation. Clinical qEEG assessment and swLORETA neurofeedback are provided exclusively at The Healthy Brain Clinic and remain referral-only. Module 1 and the Practitioner Agreement both make the boundary explicit, and the reports the platform generates are written to stay inside it.
