I didn’t think I was a great cook as such until I switched to 100% plant based diet which took me on an unexpected deliciously flavoursome journey that I did not expect!
I initially switched to a plant based diet for my health and boy was that the right decision but what I also discovered was the real joy of being able to create some of the best food I’ve ever tasted.
I’ve done a whole lot of research, I’ve read the blogs, listened to the podcasts, I’ve bought the books and I’ve YouTubed just about every Vegan and plant based video I can find. Hopefully I’ve gone the long way round and hopefully I’ve gathered all the good stuff so that you can skip the blah blah and get straight into your plant based journey.
The best thing of all is once you get the hang of plant based cooking you’ll find that out pretty quickly that you can adapt just about every recipe you like to suit what you have in your pantry, you’ll be blown away by how quickly you’ll start feeling confident experimenting with amazing new spice blends, condiments and sauces once you’ve discovered what goes with what and which spices and flavours you are attracted to.
Thinking outside of the box is what this journey has all been about or me cooking wise, it definitely still is. It’s amazing I honestly don’t miss anything re my non vegan diet as there seems to be a plant based substitute for just about everything.
I really hope this book gets you as fired up about your plant based journey as I still am.
