TURNING PRESSURE INTO RESILIENCE, AND CONFLICT INTO POWERFUL COMMUNICATION
We work with ...
Leaders who want to address conflict and improve mental health, who want to better manage inappropriate workplace behaviour and/or want to improve employee recognition including in the fields of medicine, science, sport and education.
Too many leaders in the workplace today suffer from a huge load of managing conflict and staff mental health, analysis paralysis, and death by a thousand initiatives. So how do you find clarity in all this overload? We offer a powerful way to cut through the overwhelm, get to the core, and move forward effectively, using principles from Aikido, the Japanese martial art. We tailor programs and keynotes to:
Build skills for transforming conflict and communicating with purpose
Deal with a culture of bullying or unhelpful power dynamics
Relate more effectively with team members who can be difficult to communicate with
Use time more effectively
Present clearly and with confidence
What can Aikido offer workplaces?
As a martial art and teaching method, Aikido shows us how conflict and communication problems we resist contain energy we can harness and redirect:
Adapt to unexpected circumstances with ease
Experience power as flowing with instead of fighting against
See the BIG picture ~ the whole situation, whilst remaining calm
Advocate for your point of view without denying another
Whether you want to reward your team with a fun and impactful team event, or need a high quality program to work through a particular challenge, change or conflict, we would love to discuss the needs of your team and suggest an approach. We provide before and after support including optional coaching.
